2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, organized an offline session titled “Yoga for Beginners” in collaboration with Isha Foundation at the Auditorium Mandapam, IIM Jammu Jagti Campus. The session, conducted by experienced instructors Shri Paras Ji and Shri Ojaskar Ji from Isha Foundation, introduced participants to fundamental yogic practices aimed at fostering physical health, mental clarity, and holistic well-being. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu inaugurated the Fourth batch of Nurturing Future Leadership Program, Under the Aegis of, “The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme” in an inaugural session held at its permanent campus in Jagti on 18th Nov 2024. The leadership training program is one of the unique residential programs designed to develop the leadership skills of educators at different levels and create a pool of potential leaders for generational transition. The program, scheduled from 18th to 22nd November 2024, will be conducted by the faculty of IIM Jammu to help institutions evaluate and enhance the leadership potential of their faculty members. They have established 22 Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. These units will play a critical role in strengthening institutions and delivering quality initiatives for entrepreneurship development. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day at its Jagti Campus on 14th August 2024. The event featured a poignant skit depicting the tragic experiences of the Partition. Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, in his address reflected on the immense tragedy of the Partition, describing it as a painful division of the motherland. He urged everyone to remember the sacrifices made for freedom and to pledge that such divisions never occur again. He also emphasized the importance of national unity. He highlighted the importance of remembering this day, as coined by Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to ensure that the horrors of the Partition are never forgotten. He urged everyone to always prioritize the nation first, emphasizing that unity is strength. He expressed his vision of a united and prosperous India by 2047 and cited IIM Jammu as an example of "Mini India," symbolizing the country's diversity. He concluded by paying tribute to all the families who suffered during the Partition and called for a collective remembrance and resolve to prevent such divisions in the future.

The second day of the orientation of the new batches at IIM Jammu started with the students practicing Yoga and taking part in a concentration exercise, the event was organized to teach the future business administrators to balance inner happiness while coping with the hectic schedule of work. The theme of the yoga session was 'Maximize Happiness and Mindfulness' and was conducted by Shri. Sahil Mehra, Yoga Guru. The Yoga session incorporated various “Asanas” which helped the students to overcome stress, improve focus, and maintain physical well-being.
The International Yoga Day (IYD) 2023 was observed on 21st June 2023 (Tuesday) at IIM Jammu Canal Road Campus. The theme of yoga day 2023 is “One Yoga for One World”. The theme is focusing on the numerous benefits of yoga. Recognizing the importance of yoga, this year’s Yoga Day theme focuses on yoga for every home, institution, and locality. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Shri Sahil Mehra, Yoga Guru in the presence of Prof. B.S. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu in association with DICCI under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt. of India inaugurated the Capacity Building Program on Small Business Development for aspiring-existing entrepreneurs at Hotel KC City Centre Jammu. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri R.R. Bhatnagar, Advisor to Hon’ble Lt. Governor, J & K in presence of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, and Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, and Programme Director, Dr. Prateek Jain, Programme Director, Dr. Mahesh Gadekar, Chairperson, Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, Dr. Vivek Sharma, Chief Innovation Officer, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Shri Naren Karunakaran, Consultant, Centre for Diversity Cell and Inclusion, IIM Jammu. The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Prateek Jain. A walkthrough of the permanent campus was also showcased at the inaugural ceremony.
The AICTE ATAL Faculty Development Programme on “Transportation and Logistics” under the able leadership and mentorship of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu was inaugurated at the Institute on 27th Feb 2023. IIM Jammu has started the second week of its ATAL FDP on the Transportation and Logistics Industry under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana, sponsored by the AICTE ATAL Academy in an offline mode. The event was formally inaugurated followed by lamp lighting, and a welcome address by the Programme Director, Dr. Minakshi Kumari.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu released its final placement Reports for 2021-23 for the sixth batch of the post-graduate programme in management (MBA 2020-22). The placement scenario at IIM Jammu has been on the rise with over 135 companies visiting for final placements. The institute continued to create a strong presence in the industry as one of the fastest-growing IIMs.
IIM Jammu, IIT Delhi and Govt. Polytechnic, Vikram Chowk, organized an EV Start-up workshop on Feb 14, 2023. The event was attended by faculty and students from IIT Jammu & MIET as well. The event was curated by IIM Jammu, under the guidance of its director Prof. B. S. Sahay and supported by FITT, IIT Delhi under the aegis of the SONA COMSTAR grant challenge for Electric Vehicles. The event organization was supported by the Govt. Polytechnic, Vikram Chowk, Jammu, which nests the TATA-CIIIT CoE for vehicles. In his welcome note, Prof. Arun Bangotra (Principal) welcomed the participants of different institutions and lauded the initiative of IIM Jammu towards organising such a participatory event. He also invited the participants to make use of the facilities for joint research objectives.

IIM Jammu successfully inaugurated the fourth academic module of its ongoing Mahatma Gandhi National fellowship academic (MGNF) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt. of India on 16th Jan 2023. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Neeta Verma, Advocate, a notable Member of the Supreme Court of India. Ms. Verma is the State President of, the Women Protection Human Rights Mission, Jammu and Kashmir, and a Member of the International Council of Jurists in London, England.

The HxMDP was a week-long residential program from the 20th of Nov-27th Nov 2022. The program featured 25 participants from across the country and the list features top-of-the-league medical professionals. The valedictory session had the gracious presence of Prof. B.S. Fostering conversations between the institute and the corporate, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu harmonized the 5th edition of the institute's flagship event, HR Conclave, a platform for industry leaders, academicians, and students to interact, network, and discuss pressing industry issues. The theme for HR Conclave 5.0 is "Mapping the Uncharted." This theme has been chosen to encourage participants to think outside the box and explore new ideas and approaches to HR. The conference featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. Day one of the events witnessed panels discussing pertinent topics. The event commenced with lamp lighting, Saraswati Vandana by the students of IIM Jammu followed by inauguration by Chief Guest Mr. Rajesh Uppal, Senior Executive Director (HR & IT) in presence of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, and Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu held an interactive awareness session on the prevention and treatment of diabetes to commemorate World Diabetes Day. World Diabetes Day is celebrated every year on 14th November and this day marks the birthday of Fredrick Banting who along with Charles Best and John Macleods discovered Insulin in 1922. This year thus also marks 100 years of the discovery of Insulin.
