Dr. Guangpuanang Kahmei is an Assistant Professor in the field of HRM/OB at the Indian Institute of Management, Jammu. He graduated B. Com (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi. He completed his master’s degree in Commerce (Finance and Account) from the Delhi School of Economics (DSE), Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, University of Delhi and Ph D degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.

Dr Kahmei briefly taught Commerce at Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi in 2017. He also taught level 4, 5, and 7 Pearson and ATHE courses at Kings Cornerstone International College (KCIC), Chennai, India before joining IIMJ. Kahmei worked as a Research Scholar for the UKERI (UK-India Educational Research Initiative) Project. The Project was jointly funded by UGC and BAM to develop “an empowering research methodology in management research,” particularly in the case of India as a decolonization effort. The outcome of this project was launched in 2020 as an online course i.e.,
Empowering Methodologies (https://www.open.edu/openlearncreate/course/view.php?id=4189). And travelled and shared
his research on different platforms both in India and abroad.

Dr Kahmei is an apt reader and passionate teacher, having sincere desire to work on contemporary organizational theories which focus on pinching issues that affect lives; a work that is restoring, dignifying and empowering people.
