Professor of Digital Transformation (Operations and Strategy) at EDHEC Business School, Roubaix, France. I hold a Ph.D. in Management, MBA in Operations and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from reputed Indian universities. In academics, I have been associated with various institutions of repute such as National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) Mumbai, and Karnatak University in India. My teaching and research interests include Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, Big Data Analytics, Industry 4.0 and Blockchain Technology. I have more than 75 authored / co-authored publications in referred international journals and include high impact journals such as Int. J of Production Economics, Int. J of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research, Computers and Operations Research, Production Planning and Control, and Process Safety & Env. Mgmt. I have completed 27 consultancy assignments for leading manufacturing organizations that includes TNT Logistics Ltd, Holcim group (ACC Cements), Glaxo-Smithkline Pharmaceuticals, Mundra Ports & SEZ Ltd., Indogulf Fertilisers Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., and Times Group. I have also designed and delivered numerous Executive Development Programs for different sectors that include defense, petroleum, cement, banking, machine tools, automobile etc., in operations and supply chain management. I have also conceptualized one-year special certificate program on supply chain & Logistics Management for Larsen and Toubro Electrical group and Apollo Tyres Ltd.
In my first year at EDHEC Business School I have successfully launced two new courses titled “Managing Innovation and Digital Transformation” and “Industry 4.0 Transformation.” I am also actively engaged as a member of Foresight-Innovation-Transformation (FIT) Chair.
